We are a “Pet Friendly Resort” and pets are welcome throughout the year but must be registered at check-in. $50 fee per pet, per stay. Pets are not allowed on any furniture or beds. After your stay if extra cleaning is required due to a pet, a minimum $100 cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file. Pets are never to be left alone in the cottage (unless crated) or outside, and must be leashed at all times and always picked up after. $100 refundable cleaning deposit due upon check in.
Our cottages are housekeeping units. I.e. each cottage is fully furnished and the kitchens are stocked with cooking equipment and accessories. Each cottage has a private use barbecue on the deck. You need to bring bedding, towels, food and pantry supplies. Click here for a detailed list of what to bring/not bring.
You can upgrade to our Luxury Cabin Experience package which will include bed sheets, bath towels and face cloths, beach towel (summer) bathroom essentials. All bedding will be clean and sanitized between stays. The package is $25. plus HST per person per stay. You MUST bring and use your own bedding (sheets and pillow cases) if you are not purchasing the upgrade.
Do not bring black garbage bags as they are not permitted in our local landfill. Garbage bags are provided in the cabins. Garbage must be sorted as per the local requirements (details are set out in the Guest Binder found in your cabin). Alternatively, you can take your garbage home.
All cottages are strictly non-smoking. A minimum cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to the credit card on file for anyone smoking in a cottage. Smoking is permitted outdoors on the resort, however will be limited /restricted, if requested by another guest.
50% of the reservation is due to firm your booking, with the remainder due prior to check-in. A credit card must be registered on file for your booking, however you can pay by etransfer if you prefer.
Coppertree Resort accepts cancellations of a cottage reservation up to 30 days prior to the date of reservation/arrival. Refunds, less a $100 administration fee will only be processed once the original reservation has been booked by another guest/group. All no-shows or late cancellations are subject to the full charge unless we are able to replace the booking.
There are no refunds or discounts for late arrivals, early departures. No-shows or cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to reservation date will be payable in full and charged to the credit card on file.
Check-in is 2:00 p.m.; check-out is 11:00 a.m. We will do our best to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests, however we are not able to guarantee such arrangements.
